### Teflon Coating Services (PTFE and PFA)
AST provides Teflon coating services using Chemours PTFE and PFA fluoropolymer systems for non-stick performance, low friction and easier cleaning. Applications include bakeware, baking trays, bread pans, dough hoppers, chutes, rollers, guides, food transfer equipment, dairy processing components and selected industrial parts.

### Teflon Recoating and Refurbishment Services
AST recoats and refurbishes coated industrial equipment — the existing coating is fully removed by thermal burn-off, the substrate is re-prepared by silica blast, and a complete new coating system is applied and cured. A recoated part carries the same coating system, process and QA as a new coat. AST is supplier-neutral and recoats bakeware from all major OEMs as well as general industrial equipment.

### PFA Coating Services
PFA (perfluoroalkoxy) is the melt-processable member of the Chemours Teflon family. PFA builds thicker films than PTFE for a stronger chemical and permeation barrier with excellent release, and is FDA food-contact compliant when applied correctly by a licensed applicator. Continuous service to 260 degrees C. Specify PFA over PTFE where a thicker barrier, higher abrasion resistance or chemical duty is required.

### Xylan Coating Services (PPG / Whitford)
Xylan is a family of composite fluoropolymer dry-film coatings from Whitford (now PPG), thermally cured and used for corrosion protection, dry lubrication, release and wear resistance. AST applies Xylan alongside its Chemours fluoropolymer range.

- Xylan 8870 "Thyme Green": PTFE-rich solvent-borne dry film, thin film approximately 20–40 µm, FDA-acceptable, used for mould release and non-stick fixtures
- Xylan 1052: PTFE and MoS2 bearing-grade dry film, rated to 150,000 psi (approximately 1 GPa) contact pressure, coefficient of friction approximately 0.05, around 100 times lower wear rate than unfilled PTFE in sliding bearing service; cures at 230 degrees C, with a low-temperature cure schedule available for temper-sensitive aluminium

### Rilsan Nylon Coating (PA11)
Rilsan is Arkema's polyamide 11 (PA11), a bio-based engineering polymer derived from castor beans, applied as a high-build thermoplastic powder coating in substantially thicker films than fluoropolymer dry-films. Mechanically tough, impact and abrasion resistant, corrosion protective, with low friction and noise-damping handling surfaces.

### Halar Coating Services (ECTFE)
AST provides Halar (ECTFE) coating services for chemical resistance, corrosion protection and durable barrier lining performance. Halar is a Syensqo (formerly Solvay) fluoropolymer. Applications include process equipment, valves, flow-control bodies, fabricated spools, pipework and chemical vessels. Holiday-tested as standard on every Halar barrier.
